Power Supply and Battery of GF112D Single-phase Energy Meter Field Calibrator03-07, 2024

The GF112D single-phase energy meter field calibrator is powered by an internal lithium battery. Under the intelligent management of the CPU, internal circuit will switch at power on/off state intelligently to reduce power consumption. Manufacturer of single-phase energy meter field calibrator GF112D, GFUVE, will specifically introduce the application and installation of the power supply and battery of this kind of equipment.
calibration energy meterPower Supply Application:
GF112D field calibrator is equipped with three 1.5V lithium-ion rechargeable batteries and also a battery charger, which can charge three batteries simultaneously or separately. The instrument only uses 3.6V power supply when working; The GF112D field calibrator can also use any Micro USB charging cable to charge the instrument (5V DC 1A). Generally, three fully-charged batteries can support the instrument working for 48 hours continuously.
The power on/off of the GF112D field calibrator is controlled by the POWER button on the top of the calibrator (the only one battery/power button on the instrument), and the instrument can also be turned off by pressing this button for 2 seconds. The instrument will also automatically shut down after 15 minutes without receiving voltage & current signal and operation. This time can be set in the system setting menu.
Battery Installation:
There is a battery socket on the back of the instrument. Press down the cover and push it outward to open it, then replace the battery. All should be done after the main power is turned off.
When the GF112D single-phase energy meter field calibrator is working, there is a battery/power indicator in the upper right corner of the main screen. When the battery/power indicator icon is a blank rectangle, it means the battery is running out. The instrument should be turned off to replace the battery or directly charge the battery.
Application Examples:
The analog circuit is automatically turned off when not measuring;
The backlight brightness can be adjusted as your demand. When the instrument is not operated for 30 seconds or 3 minutes, the backlight will automatically turn off. When there is no signal input and no operation for 15 minutes, the instrument will automatically shut down. All these features designs to save energy and extend the battery working time.
