Miniature transformers are divided into Miniature current transformers (including Miniature current converters) and Miniature voltage transformers. It is a equipment in the power. electrical industry, generally used in various power/electrical instruments for measurement and protection. Compared with the ordinary transformer, the Miniature transformer has the characteristics of smaller volume (can be the size of the nail) and higher accuracy (the ordinary transformer is 0.5, 0.5s, 0.2, 0.2s four accuracy levels, and the micor- transformer can reach 0.1 level).
Micro transformers are divided into voltage transformers and current transformers:
The Miniature voltage transformer is a kind of current type voltage transformer, the primary through the circuit series resistor, the secondary parallel resistor. The voltage is converted into current, and the primary output current signal is converted into the required voltage by sampling resistance after current conversion by transformer. Most of the Miniature voltage transformers are used in circuit boards.

The Miniature current transformer (including the micro current converter) has no resistance on the primary side, and the ordinary micro current transformer is a transformer with parallel resistance on the secondary side, and the output is current. The micro current converter in the micro current transformer is a parallel resistor on the secondary side, and the output is voltage. The micro current transformer can be used in two ways: multi-turn winding type (plugged into the circuit board) and through the core type.
